We really enjoyed Cooper’s Old Time Pit Bar-B-Que! We had the pork ribs, turkey breast, and brisket. The brisket and pork ribs were our favorites—tender, smoky, and full of flavor. I’m not really a turkey person, so the turkey wasn’t my favorite, but that’s just my personal preference. We loved the old-fashioned Texas BBQ atmosphere and would definitely come back for the brisket and ribs!

We hosted our son and daughter-in-law’s rehearsal dinner in Cooper’s large private room. From start to finish, we had an EXCEPTIONAL experience! The restaurant is beautiful, providing a nice yet comfortable atmosphere for celebrating. The service was great. And, the food was delicious!! I highly recommend Cooper’s for any special occasion!!

Honest review, atmosphere is good, seems to be family friendly, food is decentbut over priced. Jalapeno cheese sausage 6/10, flavors okay, casing is thick. Coleslaw 9/10 sweet and tangy, fresh Mac n cheese 7/10, luby style if you know what I mean, saucey not cheesy but tasted good! Chopped beef sandwich on Jalapeno bread 6.5/10, bread was meh, meat was dry and you can tell that's why they pre sauce it. BBQ sauce is a vinegar style sauce and was very tangy. Blackberry cobbler 10/10

Fairly decent BBQ. I was not particularly a fan of their pork ribs, but the brisket was pretty good. A couple guys in front of me looked like regulars and they immediately asked for beef ribs and a pork chop so I would go for that (looked real good). I tried the pork ribs and brisket. I will say that the brisket was pretty good, but make sure to ask for not a lot of fat! Otherwise, you will get a mouthful of only fat which is not my cup of tea. Always look at what they got, ask for a center cut on the pork ribs, and tell them your specific preference. Some people might actually like a lot of fat! The pork ribs are not that great, but the beef ribs looked 🔥 The sides were a solid B-

Coopers is the absolute best BBq I've ever had in my 23 years as a Texan.My Sister came in from out of town to meet up with my brother his girlfriend and myself. We made ourselves comfortable at the bar when we walked in. They had the Aggie game on vs Missouri. The brisket was so delicious as was theccreamed corn, green beans, fully loaded potatoes and of course the Peach Cobbler. The manager was so hospitable he made our prime rib and brought it to us without a word. He had then later offered to wrap it in foil so my sister could bring it back for my Dad. I will definitely be bringing my wife back to enjoy. Thank you so much Coopers for a great meal and your attention to detail in your service will not be forgotten.
